INTRO
Happy Fourth of July folks. I hope you enjoyed your weekend and time away. I myself spent the weekend up north at our cabin enjoying family and the outdoors.
I am excited to get back to the market this week and see what it offers. I really hope you guys are being responsible in this market. I have a feeling there are more out there that are struggling more than they are letting on. There is no reason to front or pretend. You gain nothing from not being open and honest. And there is so much to gain from opening up and being vulnerable and seeking help and mentorship.
Sometimes i forget and we are in our own little bubble in the group and the discord. But most of us are the outliers honestly. Outside and obviously inside as well there are traders that are having trouble and not seeking help. I think we do a great job as a whole of being transparent and incredibly helpful to those that seek it. But that’s the key. You must seek it. I will not cradle you or baby you. This is a cut throat and difficult game and it drives me nuts that so many portray it as easy money and get rich quick!
Anyways, I really did have fun this weekend and love northern MN outdoors. I hope to spend more time up here. Maybe once the market slows down after AI transformation and Trump is out of office, maybe the market will slow down a bit then. IDK we will always find something to do and something to learn.
okay let’s get into the market there is actually a lot to go over but my objective here is to take the complex and make it simple for you. Take the fear and turn it into preparedness. I do not care to predict but i care to be prepared for what is actionable and achievable for me. And that often helps make folks money!

Earnings & Economic Calendar for the Week
PENG the new hot stocks has earnings on Tuesday. And woah of course WD40!
FOMC Minutes actually I think will be pretty important this week on Wednesday. Get some further insight into Warsh’s first meeting.
Market Breadth Data
StockBee (Pradeep Bonde) Market Monitor
I personally hate rotation and broadening. Look here it looks like we would have had some notable strength and even extension in the market and tradable stocks. Other than banks and healthcare I don’t feel it myself! Anyway, this actually doesn’t excite me much and makes me think we could rest more or something if those newly “extended” names pull back too hard. Anyway, overall I really don’t care. I care about my watchlist and my ideas.
UCT Breadth Monitor as well. Will give more detail in the future. Included positioning as well, Enjoy.
Some of this is skewed slightly from the EOD re shuffling on Friday. I am not looking significantly into the elevated numbers from Friday.
Bracco’s Market Health Tracker
S5FD (% of Stocks Above 5MA) = 67.65%
T2108 (% Stocks Above 40MA) = 52.46%
T2107 (% Stocks Above 200MA) = 49.35%
Seasonality
The “Christmas in July” seasonal trend is technically the last two days of June and the first five days of July. So we have 3 of those left. Historically the S&P is up an average of 2.5% or something during that period and has about a 70% reliability.
Index & ETFs
QQQ SPY IWM SMH RSP CIBR MTUM BTC
QQQ (Daily, Weekly, and Hourly)
Rallied off the 50SMA on Monday but failed into end of the week. Still a ton of day to day volatility in the indexes and leading stocks making it increasingly difficult to manage risk.
Weak inside bar closing near the bottom the range with weekly EMA’s starting to curl down. Looks vulnerable here for a move down to test the June lows or 20-week EMA.
SPX (Daily)
Looking stronger than QQQ and getting tight in this range. For now struggling at this upper trendline and $7,500 area.
IWM (Daily)
Tight action just grinding below the top of this upper channel and into big $300 psychological level now.
SMH (Daily)
Extreme volatility and selling pressure in the semis resulting in a wedge drop on Friday. First test of the 50SMA after two pretty large down days in a row.
XBI (Daily)
Still seeing incredible strength in the biotech’s. 5SMA trender!
CIBR (Daily)
Clearly some money rotating into leading software names last week with great moves out of clean patterns in names like PANW OKTA DDOG RBRK CRWD
BTC (Daily Chart)
Failed breakdown of the 60k level so far
Bracco’s Breakdown & Top Ideas
Did not trade much at all last week. Was away visiting family Saturday-Tuesday and of course market was closed on Friday for the 4th of July. Really have just been emphasizing patience and discipline as we wait for more clues on where this market wants to go from here.
Looks like a big decision ready to be made on the Nasdaq futures, potentially this week. We traded an inside bar last week and now have an entire month of consecutive lower highs and higher lows as price action gets tight in this consolidation. We saw the semiconductor trade unwind a bit, but rotation into Mag7, software, etc. helped support the indexes.
If had to choose a bias I would expect the indexes, especially QQQ to roll over and breakdown out below this range. I am not seeing many quality setups right now and major leaders are not building clean new bases, they are actually starting to crack out of wide ranges with obvious signs of distribution, so I am a little cautious chasing any strength or breakouts for the time being. Favorite trading scenario from here is further weakness into a failed breakdown of the June lows leading to a big undercut and rally.
One trade I am looking at if we do start to breakdown and see further weakness in tech would be SOXL on another mean reversion to the long side. We saw SOXX SMH fall over -15% in just two days following the META headlines in pre-market on Wednesday. I imagine if we were to see continued selling pressure that many would still remain offsides in this trade given how well buying every dip has worked for the last 3-months. Any sort of continued weakness in semis without consolidation I think could lead to a mini panic type day again such as 6/5 and 6/9. I would look to take advantage of that via SOXL, ideally below the June lows and sub $150. Further downside would also bring SOXX and SMH into their 50-day moving averages for the first time since the March lows.
Another interesting idea that for now is low conviction and just monitoring is HYPEUSD. Caught my eye after consecutive posts from Ted Zhang on X. Has showed incredible relative strength throughout this bear market in crypto and building out a potential VCP base at all time highs. More so interested in this now as we have BTC & ETH attempting to stage a failed breakdown at some major high timeframe levels. Not fully convinced on this rally yet but we did see some notable increase in negative sentiment and commentary around BTC and specifically MSTR STRC over the last two weeks, which appear to have capitulated in the short-term.
A move up into the top of the range and another tight contraction on this and would be willing to trade via BHYP ETF. Would also want to see continued support off these lows on BTC ETH. Charts below.

Current Positions
TQQQ $37.55
ARM $145.40
RBRK $72.30
OUST $28.5
INTC $112.65
DELL $382
(TLN $380, DELL $130, TE $6.90 in Robinhood)
RBRK was standout performer and OUST of course. Later in the week OUST dropped a but after their offering on Friday but still ended the week up 19%. INTC and DELL I debated heavily on closing Friday morning. Decided to play it out for a few more days with stops at or slightly above breakeven. I really don’t mind round tripping stuff although it really isn’t fun. But whenever I meddle with positions I often make the wrong decision other than sticking to my stop or trail so might as well just do that. I will say over the past year or so it has become more obvious that I need to solidify my sell rules a bit more than instinct. I am good at trailing I am good at trimming and I am good at stopping when I need to. But there’s those times in between like INTC and DELL here that often get me all pretzel brained.
Monday I actually thought was such an awesome opportunity in the market to get long or heavily exposed. And I was extremely satisfied with my focus. DELL at $382 on Monday was awesome and it moved to $435 at highs on Thursday. Off $4 of risk that is 10:1. Really looking back I should have taken some off up there. NBIS ARM MRVL had really great holds on Monday of key supports that we were laser focused on from the opening bell.
Sure, later in the week we had the nasty gap down on Wednesday but go back and look at the charts. If you buy right at support close to the invalidation spot when you get a candle to hold, a presence of buyers, and an area to risk against then that Wednesday gap down and Thursday follow through is just open profit not actual losses. And that’s actually really important. Buying supports getting that follow through and then moving stop to breakeven are some really good steps. I prefer key levels of support, 20EMA or 50SMA, notable bull gap holds or weekly levels, undercut and reclaims. Anything sensible that I can logically risk against and repeat on RS names and liquid leaders. I do not care to trade CCL DAL KRE KO or whatever else might be moving. I want the stocks like CRWD NBIS RBRK DDOG SNOW SNDK MU ALAB AMD DELL the big dog winners that are easier to manage but can double real quick.
I know this market has probably frustrated some folks with the sideways action. And again this week I am encouraging people to go back and review their trades. Now that we have (had) the full weekend go back and plot out your buys and sells and take note of whether it sucked or not. Ill bet most of them sucked honestly. How many of your losses are generated on the 5 min chart? Probably a lot. How many would be avoided if you simply looked at the daily? probably a lot.
I have some stocks for you and will be live with the group all week. I hope to give many video updates on top of the live trading. Something in the evenings to get us all ready for the day ahead. I still think opportunity is there but I am listening to the price action of the market which is telling me to take it easy and surgically pick my spots and stocks. So I will do my best to do that.
Oh, and yeah I made plenty of mistakes and comments about the market that probably made me look stupid last week. I do not care. I still closed the week up 7% on my account, even though it was well off my highs for the week. Monday and Tuesday were so damn awesome. The other days sucked ass.
I wanted greatly to supply charts for everyone. It is 5PM EST and I just got home from up north at my cabin to find my AC Unit hit the shit and my house is a cool 88 degrees warm. I am hopping on the phone with some techs to come fix it but looking like we are in for a hot night until tomorrow.
I was hoping to spend this time posting charts of some ideas for next week but it looks like I will have to hold off and only send out a video to the group.
I hope you all had a great long weekend and look forward to trading with you all this week!
Charts Covered
Will send video for discord members.
